Im sure you know the Judo drgree course that run in Bath. Im not talking about the full time. Im talking about Block route. Its getting abit confusing. talked to some of the block route student in Bath. ALot of them are thinking to move to Cambridge. So now they have 2 courses with the same qualification where it used to be just bath. Heres the complication. Rumors has it that nobody in Bath Block Route is going to get the EJU accredition, where the Cambridge one you would. But thats only a rumor. How true its I dont know.

But Bath University has a good reputation in sports and its cool that they got Kosei Inoue over last year. They are setting up this new course in Cambridge this year, my feeling is it prob going tobe the same as the one in Bath, but the accreditation is the prob. Im not gona fly over there and do the course if the end of it is only a sport degree, can do it here. Its expensive enough!!

    Anybody know anything about this????

The program in Bath is really a way for Olympic hopefuls to train full time without completely turning their backs on their education.

If you're looking to compete in the Olympics, and you have the talent, then that program is exactly what you want. If you want a qualification, go somewhere else.

    +1.

I know a person from England doing this course, and he, along with most of the people on the course, will probably at 2012. Like was already said, unless you are competing on the world cup circuit, dont bother.

On the other hand, if you want to do a full on course to become a judo coach try France. I dont know much about it but was told their coaching courses are very intense.
