Help finding a poem..

I recall my father discussing a poem years ago, and I would like to get a copy of it for him.

I remember the following details - please add a lot of discretion for the sketchy memory!

I have googled with the details I know, but alas nothing has surfaced.

Auther: Browning, I think it was Robert
    Subject: War
First, or subsequent lines: something along the lines of "it hailed a (something) dew" in reference to a hail of bullets raining down.

It's a long shot, but your any help would be appreciated!
