Please remove that interloper. And while we're at it let's remove this ultramontane invention of Cardinal Paul Cullen (1803-1878), the Roman Catholic church.

Unknown to most Irish people, it was this Roman Catholic church which removed countless Irish saints from the realm of sainthood and established the primacy of Roman Catholic saints such as Martin, David, John and the like - with Paddy and Brigid two sops to the Irish Catholic church which they overthrew in the 19th century. Gone, too, were the feastdays of the Gaeil which marked Irish society for the previous 1400 years. Bealtaine, Lúnasa and Samhain were no longer deemed truly "Christian" by the Roman Catholic colonialists of 19th century Ireland.

As for this Paddy guy, every time I walk up to Tara and see him immortalised there on that statue, on that site of Paganism which he overthrew, I have to raise my eyes to heaven about how so many Irish can accept one crowd of interlopers and reject another, the latter obviously needing no name.

... but don't get me started.
