WTF is your problem? He was only stating that the glitching is getting out of hand.

Anyways last night was playing and it was nothing but harriers/carepackages etc etc. So I sent the guy doing it a message basically warning him that Glitching can result in bans and if needs be perma bans. I signed of saying regards Tom IW rep.

Thinking id get a "**** off" reply he said "Ok sorry ill stop". And he actually stopped :)

    you have 3 choices

    1. Play an objective based game. The glitchers will spend most time on glitching you will win easily. On domination you dont get a single point for killing, its how long you hold the flags for.

    2. Whip out the Javelin. Aim at the helicopter when its dropping the care package. the helicopter will vanish out of sight but the cheating twats wont when they're greedily getting their cheat and WHACK, a belt of a missile in the jaw. I got 2 multi kills doing this last night. Alternatively, before you respawn after dying, switch to anti air class (cold blooded, stinger) and take their air support out

    3. Turn off the game until patch is out.But why let those cheating feckers ruin it for you.beat them at their own game

That's actually a really nice idea, nice one.

I hated the glitch at first but have decided to use it to max out on the cold blooded challenges. Before the glitch you'd be lucky to shoot one chopper, since its come in I'd average around 6 choppers or harriers shot down in one glitchy match.Actually got cold blooded pro in less than an hour a few nights ago.
Surely as well the patch can't be that far off as the dlc is due out soon.

There is a much easier and quicker way to glitch level cold blooded. Simply shoot a chopper down with an lmg (or any bullet gun) and continue to fire at it after it has been disabled and is spinning out of control. Each bullet hit counts as a kill for some reason.

:pac: theres a f*ckin glitch for everything. the care package glitch has really gotten out of control though. there was an irish lad on the other team to me tonight doing it but calling in emergency airdrops. the ps3 really needs some way of reporting cheating.

Theres multiple threads in the call of duty forum "stating" that the game is broken, we all know it is, and until IW fix it theres nothing thats gona change that. Relax.

Played for abit tonight and ended catching two guys doing what I thought was nuke boosting in domination, but what they were actually doing was getting the 8 kills for emergency airdrop and then doing the glitch.
I've just had it with the game, think its time to go back to something more relaxing like dragon age or avp.

Can you explain this a bit more? Are you saying that if you target and fire the Javlin at the helicopter before it drops the carepackage, the aim moves onto the package once it's been dropped? Or how does this work.

I'd have thought you would just blow up the heli as it moves away.

I haven't been stuck in terrible glitch lobbies much, but it's interesting to know.

I swap to a "Clear Skies" custom class whenever air support is present. So that part isn't new.

when you see the copter, lock onto it,once locked fire, the heli will move, but the greedy gits should be underneath it where the package has dropped. the missile will hit the ground directly under where you locked on to the chopper

Emergency airdrops are the real problem and it's much harder to see where they're dropping their stuff off (because they don't stop mid-air to drop them).

For legit users of Emergency Airdrop (like me), that delay is a must. Otherwise how else can you expect me as the person who earned the reward to be able to collect all 4 packages without getting killed.

Presuming I want to bother of course. Because I find my luck with care packages is awful. Emergency drop slightly less. I managed to get a pavelow on one the other night which was a shock!! Normally with CP's I only get UAV/Ammo or Counter UAV. EAD I usually get 3 out of UAV / Ammo / Counter UAV with one decent reward. The odd time you get 2 or more Pavelow/Harrier etc it makes it worthwhile though. Although you get bonus XP for your team mates picking them up anyway, so that is sweet too. Like killing an extra 5-8 people XP-wise.

Only really use it on big maps, particularly DeRail which is possibly my favourite map where I usually get a ED streak going. :)

Which is hilarious; my reply, or the fact you can do that with the Javelin?

I don't understand what delay you're talking about, i never mentioned a delay.

The delay caused to the enemy in locating an emergency airdrop's location by it not stopping as it drops.
It's pretty clear from his post; try to work around typos.

What typos? There are none in my post.

But yes, your explanation was correct. I mean that due to the enemy not knowing where the Emergency Airdrop is delivered, by simply looking at the helicopter, you get a fair chance of picking up all four packages before they descend on you to kill you.

While it is clear from the next line what you mean, robz18 is correct in that he didn't mention a delay so "that delay" refers to nothing. If you had said "the lack of a delay" it would've made sense as it would've been clear you were referring to the lack of a mid-air stopping point robz18 mentioned in the post you quoted.
