Demand for Warehouse Project equivalent in Limerick?

    Hi everyone!

I love house/techno/electronic music. And to be quite honest, I'm quite sick of the lack of proper "Club Nights" in Ireland. Limerick does offer some alternative music choices in that we've got Dolans and Trinity Rooms sometimes brings in DJs (by DJs I mean proper DJs, not some pipped up guy choosing songs from his iTunes or CD collection using absolutely no talent, giving us the same old predictable music choice: main stream pop and rap!)

We need something different. Something for those of us out there who don't want to listen to Rhianna repetitively singing about an umbrella or any of that other cr#p. We need
I've been to the Warehouse Project in Manchester a couple times and it's exactly what we need here. Could take a similar format, find a disused space, convert it into a club for a couple months a year and give the people of the West of Ireland, those who want it, something different, something invigorating, something...that's not on offer already.

The nights would ideally be located in Limerick, but if the likes of Loco Dice, Dubfire, 2manydjs, Aphex Twin, Simian....were to play in Limerick, they would certainly draw in a crowd from surrounding counties...

So my question to those of you out there reading this is, do you think there would be demand or scope for something like this in Limerick? Anyone interested in teaming up with me to make something like this happen?

Looking forward to hearing some feedback.
