Can't cope with temperatures over 25 degrees!

    Hi there,

Was wondering if someone could help me. I want to go on hols in mid-June (not in Ireland or England) for about 2 weeks but I cannot (and neither can my better half) deal with temperatures above the mid 20s. I'd say we would even be pushing it at 25 degrees. We just end up getting cranky and tired and sweaty... So, does anyone have any suggestions as to where would be warm but not hot for a holiday in mid-June for two pale, pasty Irish people!

    Thanks in advance.

Herself and I don't like high temperatures, either. One of our preferred options is to take a ferry to France and ramble around Brittany, Normandy, and the Loire Valley. How far south we venture is, at least in part, decided by the weather.

iceland, sweden, norway, finland, denmark etc shouldn't be over 25c in june, further afield the likes of north west coast usa (washington state and oregon) and the south island of new zealand are similiar to british/irish temperatures year round

northern norway has 24hr sunlight in june so that might be a good option, there are direct flights to tromso from london

We were in salou first wk in june a few years ago it never went over 25c mostly 23c. The kids wouldnt even go in the water they found it too cold thats why we always go in august since. We luv it hot!!

Or as someone else mentioned france, we were in disney end of june last year and it was low 20c aswell.
