BTEA/ Jobseeker's Benefit questions

I'm 22 and have applied to college in DIT and I'm trying to find a way of financing myself. I was on casual dockets during the summer as I was not getting much work because of the bad weather. I started to get the dockets in late June and I have been unemployed since November 25. I am currently receiving Jobseeker's Benefit. I was wondering if this will contribute to the amount of time I will have to be on Jobseeker's Benefit in order to receive the Back to Education Allowance or even if I'm eligible for it at all.

    Cheers.
