    Hi,

i have been looking at sourcing some material
and bits and peices up north, a few suppliers i have spoken
with have mentioned that if i can supply a vat number
they would not have to charge the vat on the items..

can anyone tell me if this is legal? or how it works?
i dont have a vat number but my father inlaw has a small
hardware shop so i am sure he would have one.

    thanks
    Rob
