Is it legal to ask for a copy of a tv promo?

    Well?

    It's a promo for a tv show on an Irish channel. I don't have the technology to capture it, so I was wondering if someone else could do it for me.

    I won't mention it in case it's not legal.

    Should this thread be locked or deleted, then I'll know it's not cool.

    Well you'll obviously have to ask whoever made the thing, and what you were going to use it for. Can you elaborate on what exactly the promo is for and what use you intend using it for?

    What channel and what promo.. I might be able to help you out..

    Its not ilegal to ask about add or promos. Most of the time they upload promos / adds to you tube

    It might already be on YouTube. I don't think the TV people will mind as it is their promo and they want people to see it. The show/film producers might have issues but in reality they also want to promo the show/film.

    What is the promo?
