    Yeah, we are still looking, there are 2 of us, playing bass and guitar, and one of us on vocals, we want to keep it as minimal as possible, no frills as it were. We jam in loop studios on saturdays or sundays, whenever everyone's available. We're in our mid to late 20s, kind of past the point of no return, into differing styles of music; dylan, fugazi, beat happening, dresden dolls, nirvana, leonard cohen, nick cave, flaming lips etc.... if you're still interested let us know and we'll set up a jam in loop.

    I like the name. Is it a reference to chief bromden of One flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?
    Liking the songs as well.

    Thanks debunny, yeah Bromden is a reference to One flew over the cuckoos nest, the book more so than the movie, because the chief who is largely in the background due to his muteness is the stories narator, the observer, kind of a reflection on our history of previous bands. We didn't get to play many shows last year as our drummer was otherwise engaged, but the shows we played were all good, so we want to keep writing and playing regular gigs. If you're interested we could set up a jam one of the weekends.

    Sorry, I'm in a band at the moment and we're dead busy at the mo. Also I'd feel kinda like I was cheating :) Good luck though.

    Bromden was my favorite character in the book and I actually wanted to call the band bromden but the other lads wouldn't go for it. We're still looking for a name but I guess bromden is tottaly out of the question now. ;)

    haha yeah, there is that element of bigotry amongst bands these days, no one ever thinks of the children. Thanks for the reply and good luck with your ventures. It's tough naming a band under a democracy, we were lucky enough to be interested in the same things, let us know what you eventually call yourselves and we'll check you out, maybe even set up a gig together if all goes well.
