split sceen

Hey everyone;

Quick question; when we initially started playing 2 player games on the PS3 it was split screen top and bottom but it has now changed to side to side and we don't know how to change it back.
If anyone knows how to change the split screen back to top/bottom we would really appreciate if you could help us out! Thanks a million in advance!

Happened with resistance first, then the game went back to top and bottom but now is back to side by side again.

New game, army of two " the 40th day", just wondering if we can change split options and how?

Check every inch of the the options menu, I guess. It would be game specific.
