    Hi
Looking for some advice on getting house insurance for a house i rent out.
Any advice on what I should be watching out for or getting covered?

I have phoned around insurance compaies and the quotes have ranged from €300 to about €680 per year.

Looking for advice on what I should be watching out for or considering as important in the policy.

Any horror stories too would be appreciated..

No need to mention companies names for good or bad stories if the mods don't want them.

    Thanks

Are you getting contents only insurance or are you insuring the building as well? It is normally difficult to insure a building that you don't own.

You need to be aware of all the factors, amount insured, exclusions, minimums, etc. and match them to your needs.
