Opinions on this Hardtrail Bike

    What are people's opinions on this hardtrail?

    I had previously asked in a thread about bikes and said I would like Hydraulics but Im wondering if I really need Hydraulics. I grew up with V brakes and I didn't kill myself so I think mechanical brakes should do just fine.

    I can get that bike for around €428.

    If you do not think the spec is any good then do you have any suggestions?

    For that price its a bargain. Disks are the most important thing to have for a MTB. Hydos will be much easier to maintain and more reliable in general than cable breaks. But thats a very good frame with reasonable components for that price.

    Avid cable-discs are grand and are as powerful as some hydraulic discs. They might need a small bit more maintenance to keep cables running smoothly.

    bought last years model of this bike last april, no complaints so far. always comes off better than i do in the many spills ive subjected it to
