I need to get new pedals for my racer. I have look pedals. I think they are easy look or something like that. I was told if racing this year to probably upgrade them. What ones are the best for racing.

I read before the spd's which i think they are called are quite good. Are they????? They certainly would be better than changing them plastic brackets the whole time?????

A few threads on this recently, like this one.

What's wrong with the pedals you have?

you can race the looks no problems, just ensure you have the adjustment tight enough so it takes alot of effort to clip out intentionally or otherwise ;)

also if you find your feet are moving around with the cleats (and so are more prone to accidentally clip out at high power sprints or anything like that), then get the grey or black cleats which have the 4.5 and 0 degrees of float.
though before you change to the black ones, you really want to know what cleat position is optimum for your knees.
