Hey sorry to bother you but could anyone help me find the cheapest way to book a flight to rome for 2 at the end of march beginning of April.

I live in Cork so costs of traveling up to dublin should be accounted for if need be..

Dates between 28 march to 4 or 5th of april.I am flexibile but around then.

Any Suggestion for a hotel that is a 2 star or 3 star would be appreciated as well.

Finally, the cheapest i can find through aerlingus is like 230 each, but since im new to buying flights online, there must be a cheaper route

Dublin to Cork with Ryanair and then Cork to Rome.
Should work out about €250 for the two of you but you will probably have to stay over the night in Dublin on the way as the flights are at the wrong times to connect. Have a look at travelodge website, they have limited amount of rooms for €19.

I'm going to wedding near rome in June and this is part of the email we got yesterday
    Recommended Hotels in rome
    1. Hotel Quirinale - We stayed in this hotel last year - it is a bit pricey but very nice, very near termini(main train station ) and about 10/15 min walk from 'The Coliseum'
    2. Hotel Rex - A friend of mine stayed in this hotel last year - price is a bit better then Quirinale again is near termini and 'The Coliseum'.
Both of these hotels are on Hotels.com

I use 1800hotels.ie for most non irish hotel bookings as I find them cheapest.

[not an expert on Italy or Rome but...]
Maybe this is an Official communale (Municipal) website (maybe it isn't).
    http://en.turismoroma.it/

Termini railway station area has alot of railway and budget hotels suitable for one night but maybe not a longer stay.

Trastevere area is a maybe more suitable for a 3/4 night stay.

Institutions run by religous orders may have curfews (23:00, midnight) but the buildings can be historic.

Instead of a hotel you could try a B+B, which tend to be more reasonably priced. We were over in January and stayed in a lovely B+B very close to the Pantheon. It was really nice and cheaper than any hotels we looked at.

The place we stayed was The Condotti Inn ( http://www.condottiinn.com/ ).

A good place to look in venere.com or on TripAdvisor.

How did you spend so much???? Im flying this friday with ryanair direct to rome and booked an outstanding hotel over expedia and it cost me about 650 euros for 3 nights bed and breakfast. you could go cheaper but from what ive seen you need to be veryu careful with what hotel you book. i booked hotel UNA ROMA which has recently been refurbished. its right next to termini, so i should be in the centre of the action.

    have you tried 1800hotels.ie?
Give them a call, they will advise what is central and they will also call the hotel and see if a twin room is available.

    Very close to Termini.

There's an address via Magenta 39 with at least three hotels.

Hotel Fawlty Towers (I've stayed here, two star? maybe other rooms)
    http://www.hotelfawltytowers.com/
No problems with it. The Hotel is situated on a couple of the floors of via Magenta 39, as you may know hotels can share buildings. In the same building were anothr couple of hotels.
I cannot vouch for them at all. They are close to the Termini stazione, that's the only thing I can say about them.

    Hotel Marco Polo

    Hotel Soggiorno Blu

If it has the products Cirrus or maybe Maestro than your cards should be accepted in the relevant ATMs.

Going to Rome end of march.Staying hotel Miami after a lot of research.Booked through bookings.com and was very reasonable at 89 euro per night for a double room and breakfast.
It is well located and well reviewed.

Found a lot of the websites will tell you a certain hotel is not available but try a few different sites and it may be.
