    Hi Guys

House is finished since Dec and amoung other problems this is the one thats a pain in the arse!

Ever since the cold weather in Jan our Toilets are not working.

The water froze up on xmas morning and all the water was used in the house, the main bathroom and WC toilets where used until they ran dry, now there isnt enough water pressure to fill the cistrins.
Had a plumber out and he seemed to think that something might be blocking the pipe along the way, how the hell do I find out if it is?

    Cheers

    J

If the pipe is blocked between the bathroom and the water holding tank in the attic, then a foot pump through the shower connection on the bath (if there is one) should do the trick...wait a minute, you said the plumber told you this. Why didn't he fix it?

I was thinking about putting a .5bar pump and trying to blow water through the system??

Haven't a shower connection on the bath but I forgot to say the cold water in the bath is gone too!!

Would be better to blow back the system towards the attic tank instead of trying to force it into one of the taps.

Cool Ill give it a go over the weekend so, foot pump might be better too!

I had exact same problem a few years back after the tank in the attic emptied. What I did then was to force cold water from the kitchen (mains pressure) up the tap in the bathroom into the tank. Did the trick.

Its a day for it. I done same in satellite forum. I think it might be an airlock. Amazed the plumber did not sort it. Back word pressure should work.
