    hi,
im doing it at the moment. its a very interesting course so far but requires a lot of commitment and is very expensive. afaik it only runs every 2 years. apparently it is hard to get in to. im not sure about how many applied but for our group of 20 there were at least 80 interviews. among other things, they seem to be looking for people who are fairly well rounded , open and with a bit of life experience. early twenties recent grads are probably wasting their time

Sounds good. Our principal is urging one of our Irish teachers to do it who is only teaching 5 years but she is another Irish teacher like myself & hopes to get work in a Gaelscoil as they are growing so much. It's expensive alright!

Hi I am thinking of completing this course.
Any other information you feel someone thinking of applying should be aware of?
