UCI in Blanchardstown are showing older films on a Monday night. Costs 6 euro. This week Forrest Gump.

    6 f'ing euro?
They should be showing these for free and making the cash on the extras.
I dont get the bargain in this one to be honest. Its one for the Rip off Ireland forum.

For a 16 year old film - not quite sure where the bargain is here. Is there a free meal included or something ?

If this was for "event" movies that are better in the cinema, usually some special effects laden movie, then this would be great, I would love to see 3rd Encounters, or Star Wars, or even Gone with the Wind on the big screen cause I missed them first time around, but a movie that is shown on TV every few months, or can be bought for less than the admission price (http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3062309/Forrest-Gump/Product.html) I don't see much of a bargain, it looks to me like they found an old reel of tape and decided to shove it on :D

That's not a bargain at all really. Dundalk do an offer (for students only though) of €4 for a cinema ticket and that's any film all day.

doesn't cineworld in dublin show old films all the time but for the full normal price!?!
So 6 euro in blanch sounds pretty good.

And if nothing else, the OP has managed to weed out lots of other cinema bargains from you lot that were keeping them secret!!

If I was given a €6 cinema voucher to attend I still couldn't sit through Forrest Gump!
