I heard there's a full contact club in Midleton. Does anyone know anything about it? Are there any other full contact clubs in Cork

Now Paddy, as a teacher I feel I have to point out your abism...abysme....terrible spelling in that post with 3 mis spellings:):)

However, OP, agree with Paddy, the club is been run by Brendan O'Shea and as far as I know will offer Muaythai, MMA and fitness classes.

    yeah he did indeed

but some freaks call muay thai by its bastard name of the dreaded "K" word...

I was only leading him down the path of enlightenment:) Imagine his disgust when he is presented with fancy pants and boots and told to stick them on and go kick thin air :)

Thanks guys. I was looking for a kickboxing club. I live in the city so there are plenty of good thai clubs nearby. there seem to be no full contact clubs. I've done a little boxing and lots of TKD. I've also trained with Cork thai. But it seems to me that full contact fighters(shiny pants version) seem to fight like tkd/karate fighters who learned to box and are fit enough for ring fights. Muay Thai on the other is its own style as you all know. I like training with thai boxers but i'd like to see if full contact would compliment what I do already. Maybe I just cant live without sidekicks!!
