    Hi Guys,

Have one of these double jobbing on the farm and building when there is anything going on for it.
We noticed on Saturday it had developed a fairly hefty oil leak.
As far as we can tell the oil is flowing down the boom.
What the easiest way of getting in for a look, is there any spots more likely to check than others ie wearing points etc?

    Cheers

I'm not aware of what type of machine that is.. is it a teleporter?

If it is, chances are that you have burst one of the long hydraulic hoses running up through the boom.

These can be a fiddly enough job to do.

Sometimes, if you have an auxiliary power point at the front you can swop the pipes over to the tilt rams and it can get you out of a spot

Well I never did it on a JCB but on the ones I did, I tied a rope to the pipes and pulled them out.

Is there an inspection plate at the rear of the boom?
