Can't add person to friends list.

This is an odd one. Playing SF4 on PSN, finding good players with good connections can be hard sometimes. So when I do I like to add them to my friends list as disconnects tend to happen and so forth.

Found a guy in player match and we were having GGs and the connection was great but it dropped.

Normally when this happens I'll host a room and send an invite. But this guy for some strange reason wasnt showing up on my players met tab. & I couldnt 100% remember his name.

Luckly, I found him again hosting a player match and connected to him. He STILL did not show up in the players met tab, but as I could see his name I tried manually adding him as a friend.

I get this error : " the person you have an active invitation out cannot be added as a friend"

I sent him a messages (by typing his name manually) which he replied saying the same thing was happening for him when he tried to add me. I presume he couldn't see me in players met either.

We had some more GGs but of course the connection dropped and that was it. As far as PSN is concerned , apart from the message I got back from him, this guy doesn't exist.

Really strange and annoying. :mad:

Anyone know what the hell is going on?

Well there is the possiblity that either you or him has reached the maximum number of friends and so you can't have any more:( How many do you have?

The same thing happens to me sometimes in relation to the not coming up in players met which is super annoying, but hey what can you do.

If ya try to add someone who has maxed out there friends list ya get a notification after sendin the invite
