    Hi,
Just wondering who got the better side of the deal here.

    Seller:
Selling 09 Lancer, 13k kms, like new.. got €13250 and a 00 Corsa with 54k miles on it..

    Buyer:
Got the 09 car for the price mentioned and didnt have to go through selling his other car.

    Who should be happier?

bit of a 50/50 here imo.

the 00 corsa is worth 1k max, so the buyer got an 09 Lancer for approx 14,250, sounds ok depending on what engine and trim level it is.

What could the guy with the Corsa have gotten a 10 lancer for on the scrappage deal if it qualifes?

doesnt qualify... i think he didnt want to spend anyore than 13k on a car and he wanted a lancer... i think both parties should be happy. Buyer got an almost new car and his old one gone... and the seller got the car sold in these times.. although there was a fair bit of depreciation but have to expect that in these times
