Right so - theres a lad in my life for the last nearly 8 years. meeting him when im out and we always end up together - we get on really well and he makes me laugh and i feel so comfortable in his company- the chemistry is there so much- only ever slept with him once. when it comes to any of that he gets very nervous and always wants me to take the lead when we are messing around. always asks me am i ok?
the next day he usually stays around for a good while.

he works long hours so i hardly ever hear from him during the week- he might ring every now and again for a chat.

I dont know what im even asking here and I think i know the answer to my next question but what would you think hes playing at? am i wasting my time?

You want your sex life livened up right? That's what you should have said.

Hi lulu - quite hard to tell from your brief post - so much of him is hidden.

There are only a few options though.
    1. He sees you as a f***-buddy - and his asking you are you ok - well this might be his get out clause if you later turn nasty..."You said you were ok..."
    or
    2. He might just be unsure of himself. Wants you to take the lead.

Thing is if you have known him this long - and you are this close - it might be best to just ask him. Either you will get the answer you want, or maybe not - and if not then you can decide what to do - either continue as you are or not - you know - make yourself emotionally available for someone else...

Best of luck - but personally I would not hang about. I like to know how things stand - and if not to my liking - then well... Off I would go...

8 eight years of scoring and still no date or sign of wanting a relationship, sorry to say it but yes you are wasting your time.
