How to get a car off my hands

    I have an 01 Nissan Almera, c 100.000 k, 1.5 engine.

I left Ireland for work reasons a year ago and couldn't sell it at the time. Now it's out of tax, insurance and NCT. It's in a covered garage, but even so needs a new battery by now as well. All that is enough to put off most potential buyers.

Having said that, it was going fine up to the time I left and I think could be put back on the road with not too much effort.

However as I am not living in Ireland for the moment, I don't have the possibility to get it NCTd etc. Would a Nissan garage take it off my hands?

Spend €3 to stick it up on www.donedeal.ie and advertise it just as you described it here for €800.

Where is it located and how much do you realistically expect to get for it?

It's in Dublin (city centre)...and I'd be happy to get 800 for it.

If you want to take this to www.adverts.ie where you can use the same log in details as here, I'm interested in talking about it.

As almeras go, that looks decent & tidy.

Looks clean enough. If I had the space I'd buy it...too many projects unfortunately.

It's worth €1000 at least with a NCT. I sold a 99 Almera with > 2 years NCT for €950. I put it up on donedeal. There was a huge amount of interest in it.
