Router/Switch/Hub?

Hi guys,

I got UPC broadband in. I have the wireless router in a room downstairs.

Is it possible to run an ethernet cable from the UPC router up to a room upstairs, and use some device (router/switch/hub) to allow me to connect 3 pcs, via ethernet cables, to the UPC router.

If it is possible, which I'm sure it is, what is the best/cheapest option for me?

It would work fine and the best and cheapest solution would be a switch.

Remember, your gonna need Cat5/6 patch cables, Dabs have lots of those cheapish too;

Cat5e patches would be fine for a basic network if your only gonna run at 10/100mbps

The one you picked is fine, I would go with that over what the kerbdog added as have had experience with alot of cheap switchs and always kick the bucket really quickly. Thats just my personal experience though.
