Calling back after interview

    Hey everyone,

After months of searching, just had an interview on Tuesday for a part-time job in Xtra-Vision. Without naming names or places, the guy who is assistant manager there was assistant manager a year ago at my last proper part-time job. We were both surprised but happy to see one another. He interviewed me along with the store manager. I think it went well, made him smile 3 times with my responses.

Anyway, leaving the interview, he told me he'd be in touch either way by the end of the week (which has gone by) OR the beginning of next week. Now, I really want the job and I have phoned after an interview once before and been offered a job based on my enthusiasm of ringing back.

Would anyone reccomend I give the shop a call on Monday and see if they've made a decision? There were a few interviews being held that day, but I really would love the job.

I can't see it doing any harm. I can't imagine how they'd change their mind from a positive to a negative by your call back. I can understand how they might possibly change from a negative to a positive though. So in my mind ya got nothing to lose but I'm no expert...
