I was looking through carzone and came across this ad....

This has got to be the funniest ad on carzone - my personal favourite is the third pic. It's just priceless!!

Seriously who would buy of this guy??

He's selling the same car for €23K as well..... Plus he's got a girl in this ad....

The second pic is brilliant! Here's the link...

Seriously he couldn't even take the time to take some proper pictures of the car.... He has two ads up for the same car, with €6K of a difference in the ads.. In one ad he says he got the car for €33k and the other he it for €28k....

    Something doesn't seem quite right.

No Mark 5 GTI's should have a 2010 plate either!

Although someone will probably correct me now. :o

Edit: Just noticed that he 'won' it. Strange that a Mk5 would be unregistered until now.

I don't really see the big deal, TBH. The guy won a car, he's delighted with his luck, and he wants to sell it. Who cares what the ad's like, if I wanted a Mk5 Golf GTI manual i'd take a look.

If the "won in a raffle" thing is true, I wouldn't be surprised if some unscrupulous dealer or distributor fobbed this old stock off to the raffle operators who thought they were getting a great prize (or the operators were the ones lacking in the scruple department). I've seen it happen with charity raffles before, e.g. some friend won a big 42" plasma TV in a raffle a few years ago but it was an ancient non-HD yoke, i.e. something pretty much unsalable by then.

Maybe we'll see that obnoxious orange "new" Alfa 156 GTA in a raffle soon? Or did someone actually buy it?
