    Hi Guys

This probably the best place to ask this. I am thinking about buying a new Mitsubishi Lancer (never driven one before) anyone out there have one or know about the pros and cons ??

As i am 6'5" and can only drive a auto is this the best car under €25k or is there any other options ???

i drive a 09 Lancer... just sold it today (didnt want to but im moving away so had to). I cant fault it in any respect. I really liked it and I think its the nicest looking saloon car in its class. Never drove the auto so I wouldnt know about that.

Octavia 1.6 TDI DSG I suppose, but the Lancer has way more presence.

Maybe a Honda Civic IMA, Insight or a Prius would fit the bill if you want low tax. they're all automatic and would probably hold their value better than the Lancer.

Autos hold a high enough market price so wouldn't be too worried about that in respect to the Lancer.

Depends on the tax band, if it's too high it'll be hard to shift on.

Tax on the Lancer Auto is E447.

What about a Focus 2.0 TDCi with the Powershift autobox. It should be around budget and they are very roomy up front

No automatic Corollas on sale in Ireland.

    +1

The Powershift is better than the DSG by all accounts.
