    Anxiety - Linden Method
    Hi

Im just wondering if anyone has tried the above method for overcoming anxiety. Any Input would be greatly appreciated even if its recommending another method.

    Cheers

I never heard of it so http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linden_Method
Charles [Linden] states that his method has "Over 96.7% success at eliminating Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Phobias"[3], although there is no scientific validation of that claim.
Now, I'm not saying wiki is true, but one has to wonder.

Now, some alternative therapies do work for some people, but relying on them for everyone may be problematic.

Abdominal breathing worked wonders for me.

i think it depends on exactly what kind of anxiety disorder you have. I have heard it is good for overcoming panic attacks. i have/had social anxiety and i tried it....however, it didn't work at all. i tried dr. thomas a richards CBT audio series and it is brilliant for overcoming SA.

I bought it about 4 years back and to be honestly I didn't get any help from it and it wasn't worth the money at all.

Best thing to do is get in touch with your GP and get the anxiety looked into properly.

I hope this doesn't come across as rude or bursting your bubble.

Wish ya the best of luck in your recovery

I used this before and it was worth every penny, you have to keep and open mind though and believe in it. Can't recommend it enough.

Worked for me along with medication. I know people will laugh and say it was the drugs but the linden method is basically advising you that for example SSRNI which I was on should be used like stabilizers on a bike so you can get back to pedalling on your own and this is only done by making permanent changes in your daily life which the linden method helps you do. What's on it is fairly obvious and is no one answer to cure anxiety. What I did is listened to my doc and followed his instructions to the letter and the linden method to the letter. I can say for sure I couldn't have done it without both
