How do I get to replace an indicator light on the top indicator panel of a double oven? This is a fitted, not a stand alone oven. I can remove the 2 screws that are under this panel but cannot see any way to remove the panel. As this panel is glass I do not want to use force. Help please.

No, I'm afraid there seems to be no interest in helping us poor souls. I did find a web site that would charge $15 for an answer but would not say if they had the answer or not. At the moment we use a torch at an angle to see the temp.

if i thought you were competant i would advise you ,but given that you havent realised that you must take the unit out and work from the back i wont .

i was only going to charge you $14.99

Thank you,:D I do know that the unit has to come out but I don't know where to get the bulb etc ( Dublin/Meath area ) and your answer is not worth $14.99, $ 5 maybe. For your info I've just replaced 5 sets of rad valves that were leaking through the spindle and the glands could not be resealed ( cheap lot ) without having to drain the system.

Hi, at last the problem has been solved. Dimpco in Santry are the agents for De Detrich and as I diid not have the model no. I had to send photos of the front of the cooker to them. ( the number was nowhere to be found on the cooker ). After 3 weeks they sent a new bulb to me ( they got it from the UK ) and I installed it yesterday and is working fine. And while I was at it I replaced 2 controllers on a Belling hob.
