Cheating, a capital crime?

It seems to me that cheating on your girlfriend/wife/hubbie/boyfriend is a heinous capital crime these days. I think it is utter bull tbh. Cheating shows that one has a healthy libido. Tiger Woods and John Terry are good guys IMO and both are good role models for children. I think Judeo-Christian morals of one man one wife is a load of balls. Open relationships ftw.

I also loled at John Terry's replacement, Rio Ferdinand. A man who is a convicted drug cheat in football after getting an 8 month ban a few years ago. A much better role model for kids:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Thoughts?

OP, fair play to you for being so cool with the idea of your next GF getting double-dicked by strangers some night while you're home watching the footy.

I'd have no problem as long as she gets them to rubber up. I'm pretty liberal regarding things like that. Sure I'd be riding as well:D

Obviously its not a capital crime but its overblown to make it appear so ie Woods and Terry.

The real question is, why the hell does whoever the english association football captain is, bother you?

You have your words mixed up. If you both agree to go out and ride other people, that's not cheating, that's an open relationship. Cheating is where you go behind your partners back and sleep with someone else without their consent, causing pain and grief to your partner.
Now which do you do? If it's the former, fair play. If it's the latter, I think you're a horrible person

I dont really give a monkeys. But I see the media, its all over the Irish media too. People talking about him cheating and how that he is a poor role model etc. Then they strip him of his captaincy and give it to an even worse role model who avoided a drugs test several years ago. Seems that people/the media think a bitta craic with a bird is a deplorable act when its not.

Thats just your opinion, could someone not say that taking performance enhancing drugs is not a deplorable act. i mean rio did not hurt anyone, terry did, he hurt his wife and children and team mates.

no one said having a bitta craic with a bird is a deplorable act but it is when you have made a committment to one woman and subsequently have children with said woman. if you want to have the bitta craic dont make the committment in the 1st place - simple.

I only hope that your 15 years old as I don't want to believe that an adult could be so silly and naive. In a open relationship it would be fair game but in a committed relationship what John Terry and Tiger woods did make them the scum of the earth! When a victim realises they've been cheated it takes a very very long time for them to get over it, usually it's a number of years befor the victim can trust a member of the opposite sex again. Also Rio was never caught with anything, he was convicted for not taking the drugs test and got a fair punishment!

Wrong. Rio Ferdinand was never found to have taken any illegal substance, much less have been convicted of such a crime.

I am a bit. The bits about open relationships is just a bit of craic. But I do think its blown up out of all proportion and that Terry and Woods are the victims of a right wing/tabloid media frenzy.

Its only a crime if you get caught

Have an open relationship then. I'm pretty certain neither of them were in open relationships.

So if they were as manly as you'd like to think, they'd man up say 'Hey, I want to be in an open relationship' instead of not having the stones to do so.

Cheating - a capital crime? No

But, it's a pretty low thing. And one of the lowest things I would rank for one person to do to another.

At the end of the day if you want to sleep around then go right ahead but don't do it while you have someone at home who has placed their trust, faith and love in you. There is never an excuse.

Cheating is wrong; it is disrespectful and mean, to put it mildly.

Being in a relationship where by mutual consent neither side is bound to be physically faithful shows a great deal of trust indeed.

He was convicted of a doping offence.

Anyways, back on topic: who has been executed for cheating? Did I miss something?

If your not cheating on your girlfriend you're only cheating on yourself
