Had not heard of this before yesterday and watched it lastnight (was a workprint so the effects shots weren't finished for the most part, which made it even funnier).

It's an extremely funny film, the two main characters are so likeable and completely happless and oblivious to whats going on, the idiotic college kids are a blast. Alan Tudyk is brilliant as always, even in crap movies he's good, totally deserves to be more well known. I think the real standout here is Tyler Labine as Dale, he's extremely funny in the role and brings a lot of heart to the movie. I'm looking forward to seeing the proper cut of this, could definitley do with a bit of polishing off but I reckon this could be a cult classic. Kudos on the brilliant and original premise also!

Do yourself a favour and DON'T WATCH THE TRAILER though, bit too spoilery on the gags, go in blind!

EDIT: Just watched trailer again and it really really really gives way too much away nearly every gag ruined!

This looks really good but also looks like too much was given away. Don't watch the trailer if yuo intend to see it I'd say.

I nearly threw this away as another "Insert another teen movie title up your own.....", but I decided to give the trailer a shot.

I'm looking forward to this! Guilty pleasure if you will. That and I'm impressed by the cast (Tyler Labine [loved him in Reaper] and Alan Tudyk).

EDIT: Apologies, didn't know there was another thread on it! :(

I watched it last week and its bad, very bad!!,some bits are slightly funny other than that its crap, stay well away :)

A friend recently brought this film to my attention. I just don't know what to think, the trailer may put some off but it is apparently brilliant going by its rotten tomatoes 100% rating. :D Possibly a comedy horror on par with Shaun of the Dead. It stars Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Dollhouse) and Tyler Labine (Reaper and Mad Love). Going by Imdb, it's getting a straight to dvd release.

Edit: Going by the responses this is god awful so avoid it.....

Its crap,I watched it a few months ago and turned it off after 30 minutes.

Admittedly, it does look like a fairly awful film from the trailer. I've just read some fairly positive reviews on it so i'm undecided .

Even Chelan Simmons can't save this!!!

She was the only reason I watched it for 30 minutes,I just couldn't watch it any longer.

There's another thread on this somewhere.....

Don't know what yer on about, bloody funny film and an original premise too, well worth a look imho!

Judging by how much some people dislike it so much and others like it I reckon its a film people will have to make their own minds up on.

I wonder how many people saw it in the cinema? I ask as those who saw it at home a few months back probably saw an unfinished workprint.

The film starts off quite good and goes down hill from there.

The guy from reaper is so funny.

The DVD is not out to rent or buy. The DVD that people are referring to is the rip online that they downloaded and watched for free.

Watched this the other night and haven't laughed so much in ages. Thought it was brilliant.

watched a dvd rip of this last week, hillarious film, a pure pxxs take of the usual american films six college kids go camping and then a disastrous ending

I absolutely loved it, literally started watching it a second time the second the credits were over. It's funny as hell, plenty of great death scenes and two heroes you can't help but love.

I really cannot wait to get my hands on the Blu Ray release, it's the kind of film which I want to support as it does something genuinely original within the confines of a tired and cliched genre. I even emailed Eli Craig to tell him how much I loved the film and would gladly send him on the cost of a cinema ticket as I had to resort to other means so as to watch it.

Couldn't agree more man, film deserves a way wider audience!

I just finished it there and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very very funny

Watched this last week as well, and we all absolutely loved it - genuinely funny movie, one of the best comedies I've seen in ages. Shame it's going straight to DVD as it's quality enough that it could be a decent cinema film.

    Watched it today

Now I'm regretting not watching this because of the awful comments it received here. Must watch it tonight. :D

It is actually quite good. I think there were some jokes that were missed out that could have been made. Good concept
