Renewing Passport

    Hi, Quick question hopefully someone might know. I have a year left on my passport but im going travelling for more than a year will I be able to renew my passport even though there is a year left on it?

    yes, people do it all the time if their passport is a little tattered and might cause problems getting into the US, the passport lasts 10 years but you don't have to keep it for the full 10 before getting a new one.

    Yep, no problem. I did it when I was moving abroad as I was getting a 5 year visa and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting the visa in a new passport a year down the line.
