    Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache - OEM, for €72

I need a new HD for my Dell and I saw this, would it be compatible with it? Anything around this or a bit less in size would do the trick.

    that's a 3.5" drive for desktops.
You should be looking for a 2.5" or 1.8" HD depending on your laptop.
It will also depend on whether your laptop uses IDE or SATA

It's a 2.5" SATA you need, you have to make sure you get the right height as i believe they vary.

I seem to be having soom trouble in finding one for it and I was told to stay clear of Dell`s site. I`m not sure but I think my HD is dead, at the moment it say`s missing operating system. Before it was it could`nt fint the HD, lol. I think its confused. Have you any suggestions for a good HD, just something simple and cheap. Its a SATA, 2.5".

I saw this on Komplett seems like a good one and good price, what do you think?

    WD Scorpio 320gb, 2.5", 5400rpm, SATA for €59
