Is there any way to get support for EXT3 file system on Snow Leopard ?

There was a sourceforge app called "Ex2FS" but it doesn't support Snow Leopard and is not being maintained anymore.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks

You may have already tried this (its one of the first hits on a google search) but according to this Blog Post, Macfuse + fuse-ext2 should work. I have never done it myself though I have used MacFuse + NTFS-3g for mounting NTFS drives and it worked a treat.

Yeah I had seen that , but I am a bit of an OS X noob, and I was hoping for a GUI app. I am not really that comfortable with terminal (or console or whatever its called).

Also I'm not sure if fuse-ext2 has the ability to format a drive as EXT3, I think it just allow read/write access?
