    Hey guys,

Any idea how much labour is involved in changing a ignition coil on a Mk3 VW Golf?

I know the part itself isnt that expensive. Ive seen them online from €28-€45 whether you buy new or from a breakers yard. But if I was to get someone to do it is it a difficult part to swap out, just wondering about the labour costs here.

    Thanks,
    Tox

Single coil that goes on to the sparkplug?

As long as you can get the engine cover off, it's a 5 minute job for a monkey (I did it a few times on my Octavia). Pull coil out (after identifying which one is shot), disconnect from HT lead, connect new coil, plug back in.
