TV Shows You Would Like to See Released on DVD

These days it seems just about everything (good and bad) gets a DVD release but then you go off looking for a show that pops back into your head from a while back and you can't find it!

I'd love if Ed got a DVD release. It was a great quirky comedy from a few years back. JD's brother from scrubs was in it. Got to give First Wave a nod here too, pure science fiction cheese...

Malcolm in the middle would be a good one for dvd alright and season 1 was released on region 1 back in 2002 but the rest was blocked due to licensing for the music http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Malcolm-Middle/870

    A lot of old kids/teen shows would be great on dvd - I'd buy them for the nostalgia alone;

    Pugwall & Pugwall's Summer
    Hang Time
    USA High
    Malibu CA
    City Guys
    One World
    Kenan and Kel
    The Demon Headmaster
    Spellbinder
    Spellbinder: Land Of The Dragonlord

    Also season sets of soaps would be cool. I'd love to see classic episodes of;

    Home and Away
    Brookside
    Glenroe
    Ros na Run
    Hollyoaks
    Neighbours
    Fair City

Veronica Mars! I know it's incessantly repeated on e4, and I could technically buy the Region 1 dvds and watch them some way..... but I'm lazy :pac:

The first 2 seasons were released on dual-coded Region 2 / 4 but they're out-of-stock on CDWOW at the moment.

    Season 1
    Season 2

Hope its released sometime soon, complete with music! I really liked Moment in the Sun. Surprised you can't get a Malcolm in the Middle on DVD, I wasn't really in to it but I always thought it had a large enough following.

I'd like to see Love is the Drug on DVD too. It was pretty decent by RTE's standards.

The remaining Podge and Rodge "A Scare at bedtime" series (6,7,8)
    Can't find/watch them anywhere!

    Spot on Ryaller.

I wish they would get their thumbs out on these, a couple of Best of collections just won't do. Considering that half the cast are now quite well known from their post-Larry careers I would have thought it would be out by now.

Brisco County Junior - just so I could see if it was as brilliant as I remember!

Don't think they'll ever release this. I was in the show and it didn't do as well as any of the cast or crew expected... there was originally 6 episodes filmed and RTÉ cut it back to 5, which meant there was a lot of unused footage...
I thought it was good, but then again I'm a bit biased...

Bias and good taste! Its a shame we didn't get to see the 6th episode  I'm surprised to hear it didn't do well, I only remember hearing good things about the show when it originally aired.

Got a region 1 release if I remember correctly

Also +1 to the requests for Ed and John Doe

You and me both man... There was a great scene that got cut that I was in and I was so disappointed that it was never aired...
I think people did like it, but ratings wise it didn't do great and it was the first post Bachelor's Walk Monday night drama, and everyone kept comparing it to that, but it was never gonna come close to Bachelor's Walk... I'll actually have to watch it again - I recorded it off the telly when it aired, so I'll have to try and find that video and have a look back.

Anyway, apologies for going slightly off topic...
