    Hey all,

I placed an order with ehobby asia today, and have my paypal confirmation email. but have received no confimation email from ehobby, on top of that when I go onto the site and log in, all my stuff I ordered is still in my cart.

I have a nasty crawling feeling that this is the start of a major debacle. Was hoping someone had had similar problems and could help in the resolution of this.

I have sent an email to ehobby with the paypal detail, invoice number, transaction reference number, and details. But i have another nasty suspicion that it's going to get a canned response. Does anybody know much about ehobby customer services?

    Cheers,

    Sam

i'd say you wil be grand ehobby have really good customer service, and this is a fairly common think on paypal, what happens if you don't return to the site after you pay it doesn't register with the site they should be able to sort you out, send them an email with a list of the items you ordered and it should be grand

I'd say you'll hear from them tomorrow - don't forget they're only waking up to go to work now :)

Tony is right though - Paypal screws up every now and again like that, although it's not as bad as it used to be. It also helps that they're using Magento as their shopping cart too- it's light years ahead of the likes of osCommerce and Zen cart in the way it handles screwups like that. They'll be able to reconcile your payment against your account and read the contents of your cart easily enough.

If you don't get anywhere with them though, highly unlikely as it is, drop me a line tomorrow and I'll see if I can give them a wee shove - I have a great relationship with them because of the Partner Products thing we do.

:D yeah I love it when a client asks me to put magento on their websites, its so nice to setup, graceful almost though most cringe at the cost but you cant put a price on good customer relations, and magento helps that a lot.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease though, I nearly choked when I saw the cart still full and a 300USD invoice in my inbox.

Speaking of partner products, just curious, but did you send any JG G36C's over to galway yet :D Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I have ordered stuff from them countless times without any problems. The only time i ever had an issue was when they sent me the wrong battery because it was labelled wrong on the box but they quickly send me out the proper nattery once i emailed them about it.

Update: I woke up this morning and they'd sorted it, packaged it, and got it onto a flight to korea with UPS. That's pretty impressive customer service. Not as good as Eirsoft's though :D

Cheers everyone. Off to buy my G36C now :D
