PGCE Primary or Secondary?!

    Hi,
I'm currently undecided when it comes to either doing a PGCE in Primary or Secondary Maths in the UK this year.
I want to do the year studying over there and move back to hopefully gain employment here, after doing my relevant year's work here.
My question is would I gain employment in Ireland as a graduate in the PGCE Secondary Maths course easily and what type of hurdles may I come across once moving back to teach in Ireland.
Also is it a much better move for me, a 25 year old male, to go into primary teaching in order to get a job?
    Any information would be great!
    Thanks!
