So I'm considering going to Vegas...

But unfortunately, my poker friends cant afford it at the moment and any of my other friends would not have a huge interest in the whole poker scene... And i'm mad to go...

So my question is, is there many people that would go it alone??

Never been, dont think i'd be too bothered going solo, be too tied up in playing....

    Any thoughts?

Personally I would prefer to go it alone than with girlfriend or a wife, but would be good with friends as well.

If you intend playing most of the time what difference does it make? I say go for it...

    I would agree,

Go it alone and have nothing really holding you back!

I'v never been but I would have no problem going alone.

I went alone in 2005 because of the same reasons as you, and I had the best time of my life. Have been back there 4 times since with friends etc but its still savage but first time in Vegas alone is something i'll always remember.

As for meeting people, you'll meet tons who are just there to party, play poker and relax.

If I was you, I'd take the bull by the horns and go and book your flights. You won't regret it....well unless you blow your BR completely out there :)

Take the plunge! You won't regret it.

Seriously good deals for Vegas at the moment too.

I've never been there alone, but it's definately something i'd have no problem doing.
