Finally got a car and just bought insurance from quinn, it says the policy has started as off now but do I have to wait until I get the documentation before I start driving. Would there be any hassle if I was pulled over and had o insurance documents to display?

If you have some form of written confirmation (e-mail or the like) from insurers, then you are covered to drive. If stopped, you have 10 days to produce documentation.

I was in the same situation. Once you have the policy number your ok, I rang to make sure before I drove off and that's what they told me in case I was pulled.

Took 10 days before the documents should up

u'll be fine. My housemate here works for them. She says u dont need a cover note anymore. Docs usually arrive within 3-4 days and ur covered from inception of the policy.
