hey I'm a 2nd year business student and I'm just starting the INTRA process at the moment. I was just wondering if you were offered a placement by a company, do you still have the option to reject it if you decide you do not want to do INTRA or if you cant do it due to unforeseen circumstances?

oh and any tips on getting a INTRA placement would be much appreciated?

Intra is not optional, and as such rejecting an offered place would prob lead to you failing the module/year.
One of the rules is that you MUST accept the first place that offers a job (although that doesn't mean you should hold off on applying)

As for tips, first thing is read up on the basic interview tips (google!), after that act like you want the job! :)

INTRA is optional for Business Studies students - just clearing that up.

I'm on the business studies INTRA placement now. If you are offered a position, technically speaking you must accept it. However there were one or two in my year that accepted a place and then decided not to do it. The INTRA office will not be happy, but they cannot force you to take it.

As for advise, if you really want to do INTRA then apply for any job that catches your eye and just do the best at the interview.
