You have a good style of writing/interviewing. Do you make music yourself? I get the impression you're familiar with the ins and outs, which isn't easily bluffed.

Thanks a million! I do indeed play and been messing around trying to get an EP recorded recently but the blog, and especially the interviews, have been going down quite well so time being torn a bit between the two but not complaining :)

No reason not to do both!

Why not document the recording of your EP via blog. Could make an interesting read. Next time I record I'll probably keep a diary. It's an adventure.

I'd actually set up a separate blog if you're going to start documenting your own music, I find the aul credibility goes downhill once the reader begins to view you as someone with their own musical motives. Being a musician is great as Pinksoir has pointed out, means you don't have to fake knowing what you're talking about at times, but when you bring your music into the same public sphere as your opinion on other music... then you're going to get some mixed reactions, such as "how dare you criticize the new Jedward single, their music is popular... unlike yours" and other such comments.

Documenting the creative process is a great idea, I've books of such stuff at home, but I wouldn't dilute the focus of your blog.
