I recently started cycling, i am currenty doing 20k spins. Im pretty comfortable at that distance and am hoping to build it up gradually. Im just wondering what I should be aiming to do a couple of months down the line. Im not a serious cyclist yet, but i am pretty fit as i play football and run quite a bit also, so i really only get cycling about 4 times a week. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Aim to do some sportives starting with a 100k, joining your local club is also a great idea, it'll really build you up. After that it's up to you how serious you take it

+1 on just enjoying it. Its nice to have a goal but pushing too hard too soon can have a negative effect.

My mate did the Ring of Kerry(180kms) with virtually no cycle training during the summer. Just the occasional cycle to work, the occasional run and a bit of swimming. You'd be surpised how far you can go if you're starting from a reasonable fitness base and you take your time.

If you wanna do a good time, you'd have to train a bit.
