The city centre dies after 6pm as most people head home, I'd say most cafes are deserted or closed at that stage especially around Bedford Row/Thomas Street. Restaurants probably do a bit of trade but tea/coffee would hardly be their specialty.

Sails upstairs in Arthur's Quay might be open, no idea what their coffee is like though. Another place worth trying is maybe the Bailey Bar on Patrick Street or the Savoy hotel bar.

The George Boutique hotel serves pretty decent coffee and would certainly be open late. Surroundings are comfortable which compensates slightly for the appallingly bad staff

Because i refused to pay 10 euros to have a drink in the bar and they would only let me have entry to the bar by paying 10euro into the club part

went once - won't be going back! Amazing how low stafffing numbers and poor attendance to customers needs will get you a bad report. Wake up management of the George Boutique. You are not endearing yourselves to the people of Limerick.
