    Hi,
I'm currently studying English land Law and really hate it, its a very difficult and boring course taught by a particularly imcompetant lecturer. I really want to switch into Jurisprudence instead, and as its only two weeks into the semester and advice from other classmates, catching up would not be a problem.
However, I've missed the official change period (I did not fully appreciate how bad the class was until this week) and have just been informed by my college that this change would now appear on my academic transcript, with a W (for withdrawn) beside English Land Law.
Im in my final year, and I already have a (P)(R) (repeat, I missed an exam for extenuating reasons, still waiting to hear if they have been taken into account) and I was wondering if anyone know the effect this W might have on the overall appearence of my transcript while I'm applying for traineeships?
Will it matter at all? Or does it make a negative impact, and I should just stick the class out? If anyone has any advice, PLEASE PLEASE POST, I only have until tomorrow to decide, and I can't stop worrying about it.

God your fine man! No-one will ask to see your transcript when trying to get a traineeship, your degree cert will probably be asked for at some stage to make sure you actually have a degree and you'll need to produce that for blackhall too but not your transcript. Actually, William fry this year asked for you to attach your transcript but not sure how much weight is put on that, as I was called to interview an had two Ds on my transcript. So in conclusion not a problem!

Thanks for replying so quckly, that makes me feel a bit better. I was thinking if asked for my transcript I could always attach a note to it explaining that I switched subjects at the beginning of the semester, I can't see why they would hold that against you! But then again, I can't imagine why the college would add this to your transcript, except for exactly this reason
