Want out of my course

Currently int he middle of my second year and I hate my course and college. It is the worst run thing ever, probably wasn't the best idea to be the first people in a newly set up course but there you go.

I was considering dropping out/changing last year but I thought I'd stick with it as promises were made that the course would improve, it has not. Bascially sick of travelling nearly 3.5 hours a day to be treated like crap.

Currnetly doing a sports course, got 340 in the LC, and I'm wondering what my options would be? Is it possible to transfer colleges into a similar course without gaining the minimum points required (considering I could leave this year with a level 6 I think)? Will I have to start in first year again? What would be my status regarding fees? etc

Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I can't really offer any advice on where you should go but from a 'hating what you're doing' point of view then I know what its like!!

Just think really hard about it - Look up jobs you would be applying for when you finish on jobs.ie or recruitireland.ie and check the job descriptions. If you think you'll be happy doing that kind of work then stick it out and hopefully it'll be worth it.

If not then I say leave the course, if you're not enjoying it then try find something worth putting your energy into.

I hate my course but I know there's an area I love with jobs available for me when I graduate - I only discovered this in 3rd year after work placement and Im glad I stuck it out.

Hope it all works out well for you anyway! :)
