    Hey folks, this thread is for discussion of specific loadouts, gear and equiptment. Often topics spill over into gear discussion, so here is a place for us to go offtopic... on topic. ;)

    First off... me, from the TA events thread...
    Mtv was the 'spartan' vest... the new one is the SPC or scalable plate carrier consisting of plate carrier with fastex side buckles, cummerbund, and optional but used side armour pouches... Current Issue in Afganistan as the MTV is universally hated for being bulky, and annoying.

    Currently in heavy format, though side armour pouches removed.

    Not really... THis isnt just for photos but detailed discussions of loadouts and themes....

    If we go into things too much in those threads the mods tell us to get back on topic... This is to allow discussion of the forces gear, and other themes related to that. I think its perhaps apropriate? Nearly every other airsoft forum in the world has loadouts threads, not just photos of peoples airsoft kit.... This is specific loadouts... UKSF, USSF, SWAT, Russian, German... specific military loadouts.

    Think its ok to keep it?

    Puding made a successful thread on Russian loadouts, why not just do the same and call this a USMC loadout thread? coz it'll just become too generic and be another "photos of your kit" thread.

    Because theres more than one... and tbh, 50 threads on 50 different loadouts is a bit much without perhaps a specific Gear subforum? Photos threads could be moved there too perhaps?

    That or this is the 'cleanest' option available...
