Guitarist looking to start rock n' roll band

    Hi, I'm an experienced 21 year old guitarist looking to start a rock and roll band. I'm currently in a band full of brilliant musicians, but each with their own taste resulting in a poorly diluted/muddled sound . Theres really nothing more frustrating. I am therefore hoping to jam with like minded musicians to create some sort of synergy, with a focused effort/definition. Songwriting skills and vision greatly valued over virtuosity. Genuine commitment/enthusiasm required. Influences include the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Kinks, the Yardbirds, the Animals, and maybe a little Hendrix...     Hey, I'm a guitarist. I'm from Offaly and go to college in Maynooth. I am big into the blues nd rock and roll. I know it can be hard to find people who are interested to play this type of music. Id be interested in jamming and getting the band going.I play mainly rhythm but wouldnt mind sharing lead if needs be. The only problem there might be is distance, but I have my own transport. Let me know what you think anyway.
