I notice Sky Player is part of Windows Media Center now. Has that always been there. My Win 7 updated overnight and picked it up.

Same here. Is there any option to always keep you signed in? The Xbox can do it!

It only came two days ago.
It doesent remember your sign in.
    It works perfectly.
Microsoft must have their own sky servers as streaming to the xbox to mce plays without fault unlike sky's direct online access.

This has come up on my W7 MC Guide. However, I am a (happy enough) UPC customer, is this any use to me? I was hoping you would be able to pay for single PPV sports or movies, one-at-a-time. I've looked through the details & it seems it's only for existing Sky customers OR you can subscribe monthly but same as Sky+ you have to subscribe to a basic pack, then a sports pack, then a movies pack etc. etc. It's bloody expensive! By the time I've paid for all of that I may as well have just got Sky Sports & Sky Movies on my UPC!

Am I missing something here, can you get individual sports games/movies?

You need someone elses sky number - one with sports, movies and multiroom access. Sounds like alot to ask for but a quick ask around amongst my own nearest relatives found 6 of them with the above and none of them bother with sky on the net.

Such a membership nubmer gets you access on one computer and one xbox, plus restricted access on three more computers.

The sports is handy I suppose, as is the sky on demand movies.
Have to say I dont really use it much though as I have more than I can watch on my disk at the moment.
